Developed Bass Response

The Tannoy PLATINUM F6 floorstanding speakers use rigid, but lightweight materials to deliver a comprehensive experience. Featuring a pair of 6.5” paper cone mid-bass drivers, music and sound is bolstered so that subtle nuances that would be otherwise lost are expressed clearly. Easily matched with a range of home audio amplifiers, the low frequencies are further extended by the rear ported reflex cabinet design.

Room Filling Audio

Completing the speaker array, a 1” silk dome tweeter has been placed between the two mid-bass drivers. This configuration has been chosen to better disperse audio into the listening room, widening the sweet spot for optimal performance. Vocals and instruments alike are presented naturally, driven by responsive neodymium magnets to ensure these speakers can keep up with a wide range of music tastes.

Streamlined Design

Just over a metre tall, the Tannoy PLATINUM F6-WH is a great centrepiece home audio speaker, large enough to provide exceptional performance without becoming overbearing. The cabinet is three-quarter inch thick MDF, with internal plywood supports to keep these floorstanders from vibrating during use. The external design is also orderly and minimalist, free of protrusions thanks to the innovative wraparound zipper grille.
