JBL use their proprietary High-Definition Imaging (HDI) technology throughout the Stage range. The A135C is no exception. Critical to delivering clearly audible dialogue without being lost in bombastic action or below soundtracks, HDI waveguide geometry ensures that the one-inch aluminium dome tweeter has the means to provide an exceptional high frequency range. This also ensures that throughout the JBL Stage A135C, audio is directed with more purpose at the listening position, with minimal wasted dispersion and energy.

Wide-Spread Woofer Array

The JBL A135C is a centre speaker that doesn’t hold back and makes up for its relatively short stature (perfect for sitting below the height of most TV screens) with a total of six three-inch polycellulose woofers, each contributing to its defined presence. This hexad of drivers is laid out symmetrically, three either side of the one-inch tweeter, creating an evenly spread soundscape. Both dialogue and soundtracks are presented with ease, perfectly supporting your front speakers and contributing to JBL’s signature bass.

Designed With Purpose

The JBL Stage A135C at first glance makes for a bold centrepiece in any home cinema. The matte black cabinet conforms with the aesthetic of many modern high fidelity speakers and equipment, whilst still being distinctly JBL. From the detachable clothe grille, the discrete logo and signature white woofers that proudly contrast against the cabinet, the A135C is a statement.

This centre speaker uses a side-ported bass reflex enclosure which promotes the smooth movement of air from the cabinet, whilst giving you the freedom to place the speaker closer to your monitor or wall with diminished audio interference. This is the perfect solution for spatially-aware home theatres, either positioning below or, thanks to the keyhole slits in the rear of the cabinet, wall-mounting above your TV screen.
