Raw aluminium finish – special edition

This special edition version of the 8320ARwM marks a return back to Genelec’s classic designs. The raw aluminium finish was designed in close collaboration with acclaimed industrial designer – Harri Koskinen. The eye-catching design is fashioned from recycled aluminium. The fact the monitor’s do not require painting also makes them friendlier for the environment. The raw aluminium finish features distinct patterns from the design process. These will be unique to you, with every monitor featuring varying pattern aberrations.

Highly dimensional stereo imaging

The 8320ARwM features the innovative Genelec Directivity Control Waveguide. Following meticulous experimentation, the DCW has been developed to provide unparalleled control of the 8320ARwM’s directivity. The surface has been purposely created for a smooth, seamless integration with its enclosure. Thanks to the expansion of its area, the speaker sounds incredibly flat. You’ll be able to work in comfort, knowing that your trackers are not being coloured by “hyped” frequency responses. You’ll be spending more time mixing than fixing with the 8320ARwM !

Defined low-end

One of the hardest things about mixing can be judging the impact of your low-end. This is a crucial aspect of any genre. Whether you’re producing rock or drum and bass, you want your low-end to feel deep and powerful to “anchor” the mix. Depending on your mixing environment, you may find yourself overcompensating for an apparent lack of bass. This can lead to muddy, undefined productions. The 8320ARwM renders this a thing of the past. Thanks to the flow optimised reflex port, the tube increases airflow, allowing the speaker to produce the deepest lows possible without excessive compression.
