DALI’s most compact subwoofer, the E-9 F is still brimming with class despite it’s sprightly size. DALI have crammed in some fearsome power and used some pretty impressive components in order to produce a bass speaker that will provide balance and texture to movie scenes or add a little more richness to musical performance.

 

Danish loudspeaker leaders DALI have no cloak-and-dagger secrets to the virtual over-performance that the E-9 F subwoofer pulls; simply using the best components possible and keeping all control in their own manufacturing facility in Denmark is their core principle. A meaty 170 watt class-D amplifier is the primary driver, providing the bass cone with well controlled power that fills up rooms far larger than you think it should. 

 

An aluminium 9-inch woofer unit is incredibly light but perfectly rigid allowing for a fast response without sounding flabby. This helps with soundtrack subtleties adding a textured bass response. Behind the cone, a large magnet and voice coil will provide long-lasting reliability and flawless bass response.

 

The back plate of the DALI SUB E-9 F features controls for volume adjustment, phase, and upper cut-off frequency, while the power on/off function works automatically via signal detection. With the options for LFE or LINE inputs, this subwoofer easily accompanies any AV set up.
