The Chord Epic Digital 1XLR to 1XLR AES/EBU 1m has now been installed with next-gen ChorAlloy™ connecting pins on the XLR connectors. Whilst silver is considered the best material for conduction, it is very limited regarding high frequencies. The pioneering ChorAlloy™ technology is will reduce intermodulation at high frequencies and provide a dramatically improved connection performance. The ChorAlloy™ multi-metal plating is also RoHS-compliant, solderable and serves as a benchmark for how signals should be transmitted.
